Georgetown Well Drilling is a locally owned water well contractor working rural and acreage property in and around Georgetown, Texas. We drill new wells, deepen and re-drill wells that a drought pulled down, replace pumps and pressure tanks, inspect and test wells for buyers, and plug old wells to code. The thing that separates a well that serves a home for decades from one that fails early is work nobody sees on the quote. The hole gets drilled to a sound producing zone, not stopped short to save a day. The casing seals the upper section so surface water never runs down into the drinking water. The pump gets set deep enough to stay under water through a dry summer, and sized to the well so it does not short-cycle itself to death. Set that against a well finished fast and a pump dropped in to whatever depth was easy.

Williamson County is two aquifers, and the ground usually makes the decision. West toward the Edwards limestone a well can catch water shallow but the yield is uneven; north and east the Trinity runs deep and steady but costs more to reach. That is the whole argument for reading the nearby wells and the ground before anyone talks price. We drill to the water the land actually gives.

We also say no. A routine water test on a well that is running fine does not need a driller standing over it, and whole-house treatment is a specialist's trade, not ours. If your problem is not one we do best, we will tell you and point you to who does. And we will not sell you a deeper hole when the water is still there and the pump was simply set too high. The measurement settles it, and we let it.
